Roles & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare budget variance reports and financial performance analysis.
  • Manage accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and other necessary adjustments.
  • Oversee payroll processing, employee benefits administration, and final settlements, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
  • Oversee the processing of vendor invoices, payments, and employee
  • reimbursements.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Prepare and review customer invoices, reconcile them with operational reports, and follow up on collections promptly.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of supporting documentation for all transactions.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable cycles, maintaining compliance with contractual terms and supporting healthy cash flow.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Monitor budget execution and report deviations.
  • Work with department heads to align financial plans with operational goals.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of financial reports, including P&L statements, bank reconciliations, and ageing analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT filing, statutory reporting, and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
  • Develop and enforce internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Act as the primary liaison between finance and other departments for all accounting and financial matters.
  • Coordinate interdepartmental requests for financial data, reports, and analysis.
  • Support management in strategic planning and financial decision-making.
  • Oversee and complete all financial actions and compliance checks necessary for the successful onboarding of new customers.
  • Collaborate with operations, SHB, marketing and management teams to enhance financial processes and strengthen internal controls.
  • Utilize Zoho ERP to record all transactions, process invoices and bills, and generate financial reports.
  • Oversee accounting systems to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Safeguard company assets, maintain customer and supplier contracts, and manage all financial documentation.
  • Coordinate with government portals (e.g., LMRA, SIO) for visas, work permits, and employee registrations.
  • Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities assigned by management

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Expeirence:

  • Bachelor s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (B.com /M.com/CA or CPA or CMA Intermediate preferred).
  • Minimum 5 7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with some coordination or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and local tax regulations.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., ZOHO) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines.
