Job Description

We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team in Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facility, staff, and visitors while maintaining a customer-focused approach.

• Monitor and patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the safety of people and property
• Control access to the facility, screening visitors, and issuing passes as required
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
• Conduct security checks and inspections of the facility
• Monitor surveillance equipment and maintain accurate logs of all security-related activities
• Assist guests and employees with information and guidance as needed
• Participate in emergency response teams and drills
• Report any suspicious activities, security breaches, or maintenance issues to management
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to security
• Maintain and operate security equipment such as metal detectors, surveillance systems, and communication devices
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a security role
• Proficiency in using basic security tools and equipment
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Physical fitness to perform the duties of the role
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures
• Ability to remain calm and assertive in high-pressure situations
• Customer-focused mindset with a professional demeanor
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Basic computer skills for report writing and communication
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• First aid and CPR certification (preferred)
