Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee all security operations within the mall, ensuring the safety of tenants, visitors, and property.
- Develop, implement, and regularly update comprehensive security policies and procedures.
- Lead, train, and supervise the security team, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services to ensure effective incident response.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Manage the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of security systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access controls.
- Prepare and manage the security budget, including resource allocation and procurement of security equipment.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and breaches, conducting thorough investigations and reporting findings.
- Collaborate with mall management and tenants to address security concerns and promote a culture of safety.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and company requirements related to security and safety.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in security management, preferably within a retail, commercial, or property management environment.
- Proven experience in leading and managing security teams in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong knowledge of security systems, protocols, and best practices.
- Excellent crisis management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective security policies and procedures.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and security audits.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site and manage operations during peak hours and emergencies.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
