Roles & Responsibilities

Participates in developing an integrated maintenance plan and monitors its implementation, ensuring the machines efficiency to achieve set objectives.

What you will do in your role

  • Assists the maintenance manager in developing and implementing the schedule of the preventive maintenance to ensure the machines efficiency.
  • Monitors the repairing of emergency breakdowns and the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly.
  • Gathers data & develops periodical reports concerning the machine s performance to minimize unplanned downtime and to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Liaises with external suppliers concerning the installation, replacement & renewal of the new lines to ensure machines efficiency.
  • Responsible for planning, monitoring ,executing and completion all projects.
  • Participates with the maintenance manager in setting the annual budget of the section to monitor the expenditures versus the budget.
  • Ensures his team adherence to the required standards such as (Industrial health & safety, GMP, food Safety (HACCP), uniform and personal hygiene) .
  • Supervise Preventive & corrective maintenance activities, the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Directs, maintains, and enforces the safety program for the maintenance department; reviews safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all maintenance Personnel .
  • Monitors spare parts needs in the section and review it with the maintenance engineer through SAP System to define what to purchase, controlling and monitoring inventory.

Desired Candidate Profile

What you will bring to the role

  • Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience Preferably in Food industry / FMCG s Manufacturing.
  • Strong experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements.
