Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Physics Teacher (Grades 7 12) is responsible for delivering high-quality physics education that promotes conceptual understanding, scientific inquiry, and problem-solving skills. The postholder will plan and teach engaging lessons aligned with school s STEM-focused curriculum, integrating hands-on experiments, project-based learning, and real-world applications. The role requires strong subject knowledge, effective instructional strategies, and the ability to support students across a wide range of abilities from foundational physics in Grades 7 9 to advanced physics content in Grades 10 12. The teacher is expected to contribute to extracurricular STEM programs, uphold school culture and values, work collaboratively with colleagues, and ensure the safety and well-being of students.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Bachelor s degree in the relevant subject (Master s preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of teaching or lab experience
- Candidates below 50 years of age
- Experience in STEM-focused or innovative learning environments is an advantage

Qualifications Bachelor s degree in physics, Science Education, or related field Master s degree, teaching license, AP/IGCSE certifications
Experience Experience teaching Science/Physics in middle or high school Experience in STEM-focused schools, AP Physics, or international curriculum
Subject Knowledge Strong command of physics content for grades 7 12 Expertise in advanced physics or engineering concepts
Teaching Skills Ability to use varied teaching strategies and adapt to diverse learners Experience with PBL, flipped learning, or inquiry-based instruction
ICT Skills Competent in using educational software, simulations, and LMS Experience with data-logging tools, virtual labs, coding integration
Soft Skills Strong communication, organization, collaboration Leadership experience, ability to mentor students for competitions
Personal Attributes Professional, reliable, enthusiastic, student-centered Passion for physics outreach and STEM innovation
Commitment Commitment to safeguarding and duties beyond classroom Active involvement in school co-curricular life
