Desired Candidate Profile
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Secondary ICT Teacher to join a dynamic team at a leading British International School in Doha. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students in a multicultural environment while delivering the UK National Curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach ICT across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5).
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that foster digital literacy and computational thinking.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
- Contribute to curriculum development and integration of innovative technologies.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and whole-school initiatives.
The ideal candidate
- Degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or QTS)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a British curriculum school
- Establishes and maintains a high standard of education
- Facilitates an inclusive learning experience for students
- Drive to maintain and improve teaching standards
- Excellent classroom practitioner
