Scrap Yard Coordinator

We are looking for a talented and skilled Steel Plant Yard Coordinator to join our multicultural and diverse team in Kuwait. Responsible for Weighbridge / Imported Raw materials / Local Scrap material handling, By-products, Preparing daily reports.
Responsibilities:
• To Weigh Raw Materials - Local Scrap / Imported scrap / HBI / DRI through SAP and send trucks to the Allocated locations.
• During the weighment of raw materials to check, Delivery note no, Vehicle no, Driver name, Supplier name, PO no, Sales order no, and ensure that truck should be stand on platform in proper position.
• Capture the first weight and send trucks for the Allocated location for Loading / Unloading, after that during the capture of second weight to check Q.C remarks in SAP only for receiving of Local scrap, because of the quality of the scrap and deduction of impurities.
• To be ensure that truck is completely unloaded and Loaded with under the safety guidelines.
• Scrap yard operator is responsible to make sure all trucks passed through saphymo scanning system (Radioactive Alarm) If any alarm triggered in local scrap must be reject on the spot and immediately inform to concern department, if any alarm triggered during receiving of import shipment should be transferred in separate location and inform to Safety and Quality Control department.
• To Receiving Imported scrap / Local scrap / HBI / DRI, in proper Allocated locations, preparing daily reports of imported scrap / HBI / DRI, Local scrap and other byproduct reports.
• Monitoring imported scrap and maintain proper height with under safety to accommodate complete shipment in Allocated locations and monitoring DRI, HBI temperature.
• Proper Utilization of equipment and Labors to fulfill the daily requirements of Production and avoid delay of port trucks.
• Proper coordination of Production Department to maintain Scrap pit level, Silos level.
• To comply with the safety and security department of materials handling system.
• To Coordinate with Supervisors If any problem of Daily Reports, Receiving
of Raw materials, and any issue of equipment s and labors etc.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3-year Technical Course or its equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years work experience in weighbridge operations in Scrap Yard in a Steel Plant.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
