Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise scaffolding teams on-site, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and project specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding structures to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to schedule scaffolding installations and dismantling efficiently.
- Train and mentor scaffolding crew members on proper techniques, safety protocols, and equipment handling.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used, labor hours, and safety incidents to report to management.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure all scaffolding is erected to industry standards and client specifications.
- Manage inventory and procurement of scaffolding materials, ensuring timely availability for ongoing and future projects.
- Resolve on-site conflicts and issues effectively to maintain workflow and ensure project timelines are met.
- Prepare and submit daily progress reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and safety compliance.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent, with additional certifications in scaffolding and safety preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in scaffolding, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Certification in scaffolding safety and inspection.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications related to scaffolding design.
- Strong understanding of local building codes and industry regulations regarding scaffolding practices.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
