Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and support end-to-end implementation and configuration of SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM), preferably across S4HANA environments.
  • Drive the full project lifecycle from requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and go-live support for SSAM solutions.
  • Customize and enhance SSAM functionalities to meet client-specific needs, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Design and maintain detailed technical architecture documents including infrastructure, integration, and security models related to SSAM.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams on PM/QM integration, custom Fiori app development (RAP), and SAP BTP setup.
  • Oversee integration of SSAM with third-party systems and manage data flow across platforms.
  • Collaborate with ABAP developers for custom enhancements and support technical development as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, training materials, and user manuals.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for client teams or internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure all development follows security, usability, and performance best practices.
  • Adhere to change management protocols and contribute to project governance processes.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide expert-level resolution and support.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP, with at least 2 full-cycle SSAM (SAP Service and Asset Manager) implementations on S4HANA.
  • Hands-on experience with Fiori apps and custom app development using RAP.
  • Strong knowledge of SSAM architecture, including infrastructure, security, and integration with third-party systems.
  • Expertise in PM/QM integration, SAP BTP, and access authorization for SSAM.
  • Background in oil & gas industry and experience working in the Middle East is a plus.
  • Familiar with ABAP, change management processes, and project documentation standards.
  • Strong skills in technical writing, reporting, and knowledge transfer.
  • Must hold a bachelor’s degree.
