Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

The SAP HCM Payroll Consultant will be responsible for managing and delivering end-to-end implementation and support of SAP HCM Payroll systems. The role involves configuring payroll processes, ensuring statutory compliance, and providing ongoing functional and technical support for payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in end-to-end implementation of SAP HCM Payroll (India or Global).
  • Configure and maintain Payroll schema, PCRs, wage types, and pay components.
  • Support time management integration with payroll (time evaluation, work schedules, absence quotas).
  • Manage off-cycle payroll, retroactive accounting, and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc.).
  • Analyze and resolve payroll errors, posting issues, and data inconsistencies.
  • Handle integration with Finance (FI/CO), Time, and other SAP HCM modules.
  • Prepare and validate Payroll reports and ad-hoc queries for HR and Finance teams.
  • Support year-end activities, audits, and statutory filings.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to streamline payroll operations.
  • Provide post go-live support and deliver user training and documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
  • 6 9 years of hands-on experience in SAP HCM Payroll configuration and support.
  • Strong expertise in Payroll schema, PCRs, wage type configuration, and time management integration.
  • Good understanding of statutory and legal compliance (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc.).
  • Experience in Finance (FI/CO) and Time Management module integrations.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in global payroll implementation and multi-country payroll processing.
  • Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
  • Exposure to Saudi Arabia payroll and compliance standards is a plus.

Desired Candidate Profile
