Roles & Responsibilities

Digital Transformation Strategy

  • Lead the S/4HANA digital transformation program across Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain, focusing on process simplification, automation, and business value realization.
  • Develop and drive a Finance transformation roadmap, integrating Group Reporting, Central Finance, Treasury, and BCM functionalities. Embed intelligent technologies (RPA, AI/ML, predictive analytics) into finance and operational processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Finance leadership and IT to define transformation objectives, KPIs, and continuous improvement metrics.
  • Champion adoption of SAP Fiori UX, Embedded Analytics, and SAP BTP extensions to enable a modern digital enterprise.
  • Innovation: Identify, evaluate, and champion new technologies and digital solutions that drive efficiency, improve customer experience, and support business transformation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong partnerships with stakeholders to ensure technology adoption, satisfaction, and sustained business impact.

Finance Leadership & Core Delivery

  • Act as the Finance Process Owner for S/4HANA implementations ensuring best practices across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, and Group Consolidation.
  • Lead configuration and optimization of SAP Group Reporting, ensuring real-time consolidation and statutory compliance.
  • Implement and manage Bank Communication Management (BCM) for automated payments, bank interfaces, and cash management.
  • Drive automation initiatives within finance processes, including journal entry automation, reconciliations, and intercompany eliminations using SAP Intelligent RPA or equivalent tools.
  • Oversee design and implementation of Central Finance (CFIN) or intercompany reporting architectures, aligning master data and processes across entities.
  • Integrate SAP with non-SAP systems (e.g., Treasury, Expense, or BI tools) to enhance financial visibility and decision support.

Desired Candidate Profile

Educational Background :- Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology, CA , MBA in Finance, SAP Finance certified

Technical Qualification / Certification :- SAP S4 HANA, strong understanding digital transformation and emerging technologies

Related Work Experience :-

  • 10 years of experience in IT roles, with at least 35 years in a S4 HANA Transformation
  • Proven ability to align IT solutions with business strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Experience in project management, business analysis, or innovation management is an advantage.

Skills - Technical/Functional Competency :-

Bachelors or masters degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field. Professional certifications (CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) highly preferred.

10+ years of experience in SAP Finance and cross-functional ERP implementation, with at least 5 years in S/4HANA transformation programs.

Work closely with Procurement (MM/Ariba), Sales (SD), and EAM teams to harmonize end-to-end processes from procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and record-to-report
