We are currently seeking a Senior SAP Analytics Consultant (7+ Years) for Banking to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) and SAP Data Services (BODS), strong knowledge of MS SQL Server, along with experience in Core Banking Systems such as Temenos T24. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and client-facing capabilities, aiming to deliver high-quality analytics solutions that meet our clients' business requirements. The job is on-site in Qatar.

Responsibilities and Duties

General

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Lead projects from requirements gather to implementation, testing, and user acceptance with little or no supervision.

Provide Support and Maintenance to business users in timely and satisfactory manner

SAP Data Services (BODS)

Prepare technical design and mapping documents for data integration projects.

Utilize SAP Information Steward (SAP IS) to define data validation rules and setup scorecards for data quality dimensions.

Configure different types of data stores and manage repositories within SAP BODS.

Implement and manage data migration processes end-to-end, including extraction, profiling, transformation, and loading to the target systems.

Optimize performance of data integration jobs and ensure high data quality standards are met.

SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ)

Develop and maintain universes using the Information Design Tool (IDT).

Create complex reports with Web Intelligence (Webi), including sourcing data from various relational databases and other sources.

Implement SAP BOBJ report scheduling using event-based triggers and manage reports through the SAP BOBJ Central Management Console.

Provide knowledge and support for SAP BOBJ administration, including understanding and maintaining existing Webi reports, enhancements, issue resolutions, and end-user support.

Microsoft SQL Server

Data Modeling and Database Design: Design, develop, and optimize relational databases and data models in SQL Server to support reporting and analytics requirements.

Stored Procedures and Scripts: Develop, maintain, and optimize stored procedures, functions, and SQL scripts for data manipulation, reporting, and automation tasks. Optimize complex queries, manage indexing strategies, and troubleshoot performance issues to ensure efficient data processing and retrieval.

Data Warehousing: Build and maintain data warehouses, ensuring high-quality data organization, data aggregation, and historical data retention.

Data Quality and Governance: Ensure data quality and enforce data governance policies, performing data validation and implementing controls to maintain accuracy.

Backup and Recovery Management: Manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes to ensure data availability and integrity.

Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain database security practices, manage user roles and permissions, and ensure compliance with data protection standards.
