Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with basic Basis knowledge to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP development and a good understanding of Basis tasks such as user creation, role creation and assignment, TR deployment, and daily system performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and implement SAP ABAP programs and enhancements.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct unit testing and support integration testing.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP ABAP-related issues.
- Perform basic Basis tasks including user creation, role creation and assignment, deploy transport requests / TOCs to quality & production systems, and daily system performance monitoring.
- Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of SAP systems.
- Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation and migration projects.
- Maintain technical documentation for all developments and modifications.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, minimum of 2 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of SAP Basis tasks.
- SAP ABAP Certification is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA database.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
