Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure business needs are met through BPR, Gap analysis of current processes.
  • The role will also support SAP HCM functional design and configuration
  • Ensure successful implementations and support project efforts.
  • Ensure optimal service levels in line with Regional IT directives
  • Ensure strict compliance to corporate IT policy & guidelines
  • Provide viable & innovative solutions to HR
  • Understanding of all ABAP enhancements
  • Support Cross-Functional team for ABAP
  • Troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution of end user problems as well as performing routine system maintenance checks and corrective actions such as maintaining interfaces to SAP where applicable.
  • Determine application development requirements, acting as the liaison of the IT Organization with the end users to ensure requirements and progress are communicated accurately.
  • Creating design specifications for programs in aspects of SAP language. Completing documentation of software solutions, SAP configuration and program modifications according to Company standards.
  • Ensure security of all Master data related to HR personnel & Employees.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/HR, Master's in Computer Science is preferred
  • Minimum 6 years hands-on ABAP development, Consulting experience in SAP HCM Module
  • Must have Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP programming tools including Report and Transaction creation, Enhancements, Conversion Programs, SAP script, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, Screen Painter, BDC, LSMW, User Exits, Menu Exits, Function Exit, Screen Exit, ALV Reports, Dialog Programming, Data Dictionary, RFC, ABAP Query, ALE, BAPI, BADI, and workflow.
  • Must have strong knowledge in configuration of wage types, subtypes, Calendar Schedules, Payroll posting, Remuneration Statement, generation of customized Pay slip. Managing and processing payroll with posting to accounting of employees in SAP HCM.
  • Testing, training, and documentation.
  • Work with multiple Integration requirements e.g., van sales application, T&A etc. Integration expertise required across multiple technologies (EDI, FTP, Rest API, BAPI)
  • Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload.
  • Able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills.
