Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, train, and mentor a team of medical representatives.
  • Assign territories, set sales targets, and monitor performance.
  • Conduct regular field visits to provide guidance and feedback.
  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to increase market penetration and brand presence.
  • Ensure proper product positioning and promotional activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals (HCPs), pharmacies, and institutions.
  • Support representatives in resolving customer complaints and addressing inquiries.
  • Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust strategies.
  • Ensure all promotional activities comply with regulatory guidelines, ethical codes, and company policies.
  • Monitor representative adherence to compliance requirements during field visits.
  • Organize product knowledge sessions and sales skill training for team members.
  • Develop underperforming representatives and identify potential future leaders.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor s degree in Pharmacy, Life Science or related field

Experience: 3 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with at least 1 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role.

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of pharmaceutical products, therapeutic areas, and industry regulations.
  • Familiarity with sales metrics, CRM tools, and market analysis techniques.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking with problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Achievement of team sales targets and growth objectives.
  • Market share improvement in assigned territory.
