Role --- Sales Supervisor – Muscat - Oman


Role Overview


We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Sales Supervisor to lead our sales team and drive growth across both General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT)channels within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. The ideal candidate will have proven success in supervising field sales operations, achieving targets, and developing strong relationships with distributors and key retail accounts.


Key Responsibilities


  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Target Achievement: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals across GT (traditional retailers, groceries) and MT (hypermarkets, supermarkets).
  • Route Planning & Execution: Monitor daily sales activities, optimize sales routes, and ensure excellent execution of merchandising standards and promotional campaigns at the Point of Sale (POS).
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, productive business relationships with key clients, distributors, and store management in the Modern Trade sector.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct regular market visits to assess competitor activity, identify new business opportunities, and provide actionable feedback to the management team.
  • Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely sales reports, performance analyses, and forecasts.
  • Inventory & Collections: Oversee the management of stock levels, minimize returns, and ensure timely collections of payments as per company policy.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Mandatory experience and demonstrated success in managing both General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) sales channels.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and under pressure to meet sales targets.
  • Must possess a valid local driving license (or be able to obtain one quickly).
