Roles & Responsibilities

Know-How Section

  • Solid understanding of the general trade structure in Egypt and the sales cycle for durable consumer goods, especially water-related products.
  • Familiarity with order generation, route planning, and basic inventory flow management.
  • Ability to use manual or digital tools to track sales activities and customer data.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to build and sustain customer loyalty.
  • Clear and effective communication with customers and internal teams regarding orders, payments, or operational issues.
  • Professional representation of the company and its value proposition in the market.
  • No direct reports; operates independently in the field while coordinating cross-functionally.
  • Responsible for managing his/her own customer portfolio and delivering territory performance.

2. Problem-Solving Section

  • Operates within established company sales processes and commercial policy while responding to daily field variables.
  • Engages with diverse customer types requiring tailored approaches and situational judgment.
  • Managing customer expectations around product availability and delivery timelines.
  • Balancing priorities between different account types (retailers, semi-wholesalers, and wholesalers).
  • Identifying and acting on opportunities to expand customer base or improve order consistency without promotional dependency.
3. Accountability Section
  • Achieve sell-in targets by generating orders from general trade customers, including retailers, wholesalers, and semi-wholesalers.
  • Conduct regular field visits to maintain strong relationships with assigned trade customers and secure consistent orders.
  • Ensure full availability of the company s product range at customer outlets to support stock rotation and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor customer stock levels and coordinate with the distribution/logistics team to ensure timely order delivery.
  • Identify and onboard new retailers and wholesalers within the assigned territory to grow market coverage.
  • Follow up on collections to ensure timely payments, adhering to the company s credit policy.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales transactions, and account status using designated reporting tools.
  • Report any customer issues, pricing dynamics, or competitor activity observed in the field to the sales manager.
  • Adhere to daily route plans and visit frequencies as assigned by sales management.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree; knowledge of distribution systems is a plus.
  • 1 2 years in field sales, preferably in FMCG or retail distribution.
  • Saturday Thursday, field visits required daily.
