Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and onboard new merchants for payment acceptance solutions in line with sales targets.
- Present and explain payment acceptance products and services to prospective and existing merchants.
- Collect and verify required merchant documentation and ensure accurate onboarding in accordance with bank policies.
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned merchants, providing ongoing support, addressing service needs, and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with merchants to ensure satisfaction, retention, and increased business volume.
- Monitor merchant activity, identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling, and proactively address potential risks or compliance issues.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, service delivery, and compliance checks.
- Maintain accurate records of merchant applications, contracts, service status, and interactions.
- Ensure all sales, onboarding, and relationship management activities comply with the bank’s policies, procedures, and Qatar Central Bank regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, relationship management, or customer service, preferably in banking or payments.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Good understanding of payment solutions and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic is preferred.
