Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets and occupancy goals
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, and event planners
- Create and manage digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, including social media and email marketing
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless guest experiences and brand consistency
- Represent the hotel/resort at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
- Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and campaign effectiveness
- Manage and nurture relationships with key clients and partners
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the local Qatar and Gulf region hospitality market
- Ensure all sales and marketing activities align with the hotel/resort's brand standards and values
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hotel/resort sales and marketing, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in developing and implementing effective marketing and sales strategies
- In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry and luxury hotel/resort market trends
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to close deals
- Proficiency in CRM software and marketing tools
- Expertise in social media marketing and digital campaign management
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Experience in developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
- Knowledge of local culture and business practices in Qatar and the Gulf region
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
- Professional certifications in hospitality or marketing are preferred
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required
