Roles & Responsibilities


The Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and driving the performance of Business Development Managers and their respective sales teams to achieve overall loan sales targets. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, business growth, and coordination with the Sales Head to ensure the successful execution of sales objectives and expansion of the loan portfolio.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, mentor, and support a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) to ensure achievement of sales and business targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth across loan products (personal, auto, SME, etc.).
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, ensuring timely achievement of monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Guide teams in identifying potential business opportunities and expanding customer base.
  • Review market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, risk management standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, credit, and customer service) to ensure smooth processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare periodic business performance reports and present insights to the Sales Head.
  • Drive a culture of motivation, accountability, and high performance across the sales teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in loan, credit cards, and other financial instruments sales, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of leading sales teams and delivering strong business results.
  • In-depth understanding of loan products and retail lending operations.
  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet business deadlines.
