Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets for electrical cables, focusing on market penetration and growth.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure optimal team performance and sales effectiveness.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients, contractors, and distributors, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions for electrical cable requirements.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly to gain a competitive advantage.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 3 years in the electrical cable industry, demonstrating a proven track record.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and distributors.
- Strong understanding of electrical cable products, applications, and industry standards (e.g., IEC, BS, UL, etc.) is essential.
