Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor s degree in Architecture (preferred) or Interior Design
Excellent graphic communication skills
Creative mindset with strong attention to technical details
Solid understanding of complex geometric spaces
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive and review design requests
Brainstorm lighting design concepts, analyze design requirements, project delivery, timelines, etc.
Utilize software tools including AutoCAD, Dialux, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, 3ds Max, SketchUp, and Lumion.
Prepare drawings and perform calculations to ensure all specifications are met.
Select and specify lighting luminaires.
Prepare PowerPoint presentations for client submissions.
Coordinate technical and commercial activities with lighting suppliers.
Visit sites as needed.
Proactively identify and pursue new project opportunities (spec-in with consultants/architects, tender tracking, site leads), maintain regular client communication, prepare commercial offers, and drive opportunities from first contact to purchase order.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing support, information, guidance, and selling opportunities.
Keep clients informed about new lighting ideas, technologies, and products, and provide them with updated catalogues
