Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Purpose
To develop, manage, and grow sales of Domestic / Commercial Pump products in the assigned market segment, ensuring achievement of sales targets, customer satisfaction, and sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Promote and sell LEO Pump products (surface pumps, submersible pumps, booster systems, etc.) to distributors, dealers, contractors, and end-users.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the domestic, commercial, and industrial pump markets.
- Prepare and submit sales quotations, proposals, and technical offers in line with customer requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts within company guidelines.
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure repeat business and resolve customer issues promptly.
- Provide technical product presentations and demonstrations to clients.
3. Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences.
- Provide feedback to management on market demands, pricing, and product improvements.
4. Sales Administration
- Maintain accurate sales records, pipelines, and activity reports.
- Ensure timely payment collection and adherence to credit policies.
5. Coordination
- Work closely with internal teams (logistics, technical service, finance) to ensure smooth order processing and after-sales support.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for promotional campaigns, exhibitions, and trade shows.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in pump sales or related products (water pumps, HVAC, plumbing, MEP equipment).
- Strong technical understanding of pumping systems and applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP
- Valid UAE driving license (if role is UAE-based).
- KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain required gross margin levels.
- Expand customer base and increase market penetration.
- Timely collection of receivables.
