Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Sales Executive specializing in forklifts, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our sales operations. You will be responsible for acquiring new clients and maintaining long-term relationships with existing customers by understanding their material handling needs and delivering tailored solutions. This position requires a proactive and results-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and possesses excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills. You will be working closely with various departments, including logistics and customer service, to ensure a seamless sales process and high customer satisfaction. Your insights and relationship-building skills will be instrumental in achieving our sales targets and expanding our market presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet organizational goals for forklift sales.
- Identify and acquire new clients, expanding our customer base in the market.
- Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with existing key accounts to maximize sales potential.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and inform sales strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized material handling solutions to clients.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential and existing customers.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and activity logs for management review.
- Provide feedback to the product development team on customer needs and suggestions.
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to represent the company.
- Stay updated with industry trends, product knowledge, and technological advancements in forklifts.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent pre-sales and post-sales support.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the material handling or industrial equipment sector.
- Strong understanding of forklift products and the material handling industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships effectively.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and training sessions.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach are required.
- Valid driver's license to facilitate travel to client sites.
