Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies for Perkins, Cummins, Kirloskar, and Mahindra generator sets to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Generate qualified leads, prepare customized proposals, lead negotiations, and close sales opportunities effectively.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and client meetings to promote products and gather competitive intelligence.
- Manage sales of genuine and OEM diesel and gas generator spare parts, providing expert guidance on compatibility, application, and availability.
- Partner with after-sales teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and maintain high client satisfaction.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 3 5 years of hands-on experience in diesel generator sales, with a proven track record of success with Perkins, Cummins, Kirloskar, and Mahindra brands.
- Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Engineering (preferred).
- In - depth technical knowledge of diesel generators, including control systems, performance parameters, and maintenance requirements.
- Strong understanding of genuine and OEM spare parts, including application, sourcing, and lifecycle management.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic, consultative selling approaches.
