Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Sales Engineer combines strong technical expertise with effective sales skills to promote and sell technical products to clients. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, presenting product details, providing after-sales support, and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate should have an engineering background, a solid understanding of the construction sector, and strong communication and negotiation abilities. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve business growth and meet sales targets. Identify and approach new clients and project opportunities within the construction and engineering sectors. Present and demonstrate product features, benefits, and technical details to clients, consultants, and contractors. Prepare and deliver accurate quotations, proposals, and tender submissions. Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth project execution. Provide technical support and after-sales service to clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships. Ensure that the company’s products are specified in project designs and approved by consultants. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and project developments to identify potential opportunities. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. 1–2 years of experience in sales or technical roles within the construction or building materials industry. Strong technical understanding of products and their applications. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently or in a team. Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD tools is an advantage
