Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth technical consultations with clients to understand their heavy equipment rental needs, providing tailored solutions.
- Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations showcasing the features and benefits of heavy equipment.
- Prepare detailed technical proposals, including equipment specifications, pricing, and operational considerations.
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales leads through networking, market research, and cold calling within the construction and infrastructure sectors.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in the heavy equipment market.
- Provide technical support to clients, addressing any issues or concerns related to equipment operation and maintenance.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and activity logs to the sales management team.
- Oversee and coordinate equipment deployments, ensuring timely delivery and proper setup at client sites.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience within the heavy equipment rental industry.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of heavy equipment mechanics, operation, and maintenance.
- Exhibits excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
- Proficient in preparing technical proposals, quotations, and sales presentations.
- Demonstrates strong negotiation and closing skills, adept at securing profitable sales contracts.
- Possesses a valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites and project locations.
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Arabic) is a plus.
- Exhibits strong problem-solving skills, capable of troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions.
