Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Shop Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting shoppers in finding products, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, knowledgeable about the store s merchandise, and eager to help customers have a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
Answer questions about merchandise, pricing, and promotions.
Provide recommendations based on customer needs and preferences.
Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate when necessary.
Sales & Checkout:
Process sales transactions accurately using the POS (Point of Sale) system.
Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments securely.
Upsell or cross-sell products to enhance the shopping experience.
Assist with returns, exchanges, and refunds according to store policy.
Store Maintenance:
Ensure shelves, displays, and merchandise are neatly organized and stocked.
Assist in receiving, unpacking, and labeling new inventory.
Keep the store clean and presentable.
Product Knowledge:
Stay informed about current promotions, new arrivals, and product features.
Attend training sessions to improve sales techniques and product expertise.
Team Collaboration:
Work cooperatively with team members and management to meet sales targets.
Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety, loss prevention, and operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
At least 3+ years of retail sales experience
Fluent English (verbal & written)
Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong customer service and sales abilities
Experience with retail POS systems
Visual merchandising knowledge
