Roles & Responsibilities
As a Sales Advisor in the Insurance sector, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth by engaging with potential clients and providing tailored insurance solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to guide customers through the process of selecting insurance products that meet their personal and financial needs. You will leverage your knowledge of the insurance market and our product offerings to provide informed advice, ensuring customer satisfaction and trust. Working closely with our sales team, you will contribute to meeting the organization's sales goals and enhancing our market presence through strategic outreach and relationship-building activities.
Responsibilities
- Identify and contact potential clients to discuss their insurance needs and queries.
- Explain insurance policies and products in a clear, understandable manner.
- Analyze clients' current insurance portfolios and recommend appropriate additional products.
- Customize insurance programs to suit individual customer requirements and budgets.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure consistent achievement of sales targets.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all insurance company policies, and regulations.
- Negotiate policy terms and conditions to best benefit both client and company.
- Develop and maintain a good relationship with underwriters and other stakeholders.
- Process renewals, mid-term adjustments, and cancellations effectively and efficiently.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activity and client interactions for management review.
- Participate in training and professional development to learn and keep updated on product details.
- Resolve any client issues or complaints promptly to ensure continuous client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a sales or advisory role within the insurance industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a client-centric approach.
- Strong understanding of different insurance products and customer service timelines.
- Ability to comprehend financial statements and insurance regulations effectively.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for report management.
- Minimum requirement of a high school diploma; a bachelor's degree is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive sales team.
