Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Account Manager to join our team, specializing in the sale of imported building materials with extended lead times. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience managing client expectations regarding shipping durations and advance payment terms. This role requires a proactive individual who can develop and maintain client relationships, coordinate with Procurement department, and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project deadlines.
What You will do (Responsibilities) :
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction and building materials industry.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with Retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
Educate clients on the benefits of imported materials, lead times, and logistical considerations.
Coordinate with Procurement and logistics teams to provide accurate shipment tracking and updates.
Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and product specifications along with samples to potential customers.
Negotiate pricing and advance payment terms while ensuring profitability and competitiveness in the market.
Work closely with the procurement team to forecast demand and manage stock levels effectively.
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and pricing fluctuations.
Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and order-related issues efficiently.
Prepare feedback and reports of customer visits and funnel and make presentations of the insights of the market and its trends.
Who You are (Qualifications & Experience) :
Minimum 2-5 years of sales experience in building materials, construction supplies, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of import logistics, customs clearance, and supply chain management.
Ability to handle long lead times and manage customer expectations accordingly.
Proven experience in B2B sales, negotiation, and relationship management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in [English, Arabic preferred].
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Equivalent Google Workspace Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and CRM software.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits as required.
