We require full time Safety Officers/Engineer who shall ensure that all the safety rules and regulations are being complied with by all the personnel, all the equipment conforms to the relevant
specifications and correct working procedures are adopted
The Safety Officer/Engineer shall have the minimum qualification and experience as specified in HSEMS Guidelines for the Contractors.
The Safety Officer/ Engineer shall have valid Kuwait driver license.
Functions and Responsibilities:
a) Prepare and implement Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) plan.
b) Conduct Safety introduction for all site personnel.
c) Prepare job specific hazards list for daily monitoring.
d) Conduct daily inspection and report safety hazards on all equipment and vehicles.
e) Instruct and motivate all levels of site personnel including sub-contractors on safety awareness and procedures.
f) Ensure compliance to Work Permit requirements and other regulations.
g) Oversee the provision of proper First Aid and Fire Protection requirements including the proper training required thereof.
h) Conduct regular Safety meetings with all supervisory personnel and prepare /submit to the Company the minutes of such meetings.
i) Prepare the required periodic safety reports as required by the Company regulations.
