Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive radiation safety programs tailored to the specific needs of the facility, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of work areas to identify potential hazards, evaluate safety practices, and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide ongoing training and education to staff on radiation safety protocols, emphasizing the importance of personal protective equipment and safe handling procedures.
- Act as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, ensuring that all reporting, documentation, and safety measures meet the latest industry standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in radiation safety or health physics within a healthcare or academic environment.
NEBSOSH IGC certificate.
Proven experience in conducting radiation safety audits and risk assessments, demonstrating a strong understanding of regulatory compliance.
