Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks that could impact the company's financial and operational performance.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies tailored to the specific needs of the business.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a risk-aware culture and ensure effective communication of risk-related issues.
  • Monitor market trends and emerging risks to proactively adjust risk management strategies as needed.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders on risk exposure and mitigation efforts.
  • Lead crisis management and business continuity planning initiatives to ensure company resilience.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards to safeguard the company's against non-compliance.
  • Utilize advanced data analysis tools to quantify risks and make data-driven decisions.
  • Train and mentor staff on risk management best practices and promote continuous improvement in risk processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 7-15 years of progressive experience in risk management within insurance industry,
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools, along with advanced Excel and data visualization skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to assess complex risk scenarios and develop actionable strategies.
  • Problem-solving,
  • Comprehensive understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements specific to the industry.
  • Fluency in English is required, proficiency in Arabic languages is preferable.
  • professional certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM),
