Retail Supervisor Al Zorah Golf Club

The Retail Supervisor plays a key role in delivering outstanding service and retail performance at the Golf Shop. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the retail environment, ensuring excellence in customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and team supervision. The role requires a proactive and sales-oriented mindset, with strong attention to detail and a passion for golf and premium guest experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver a warm, professional welcome to all members and guests, creating a refined and engaging retail experience.

• Lead the daily operation of the Golf Shop, ensuring exceptional presentation, organization, and cleanliness.

• Supervise and motivate retail team members, coordinating shift schedules, task assignments, and performance standards.

• Monitor stock levels, coordinate with suppliers, and oversee merchandise replenishment, receiving, and tagging.

• Maintain accurate records of sales, stock movement, and daily cash reconciliation.

• Implement visual merchandising standards to enhance product visibility and drive retail sales.

• Provide expert advice on golf equipment, apparel, and accessories based on guest needs and preferences.

• Assist in planning and executing retail promotions, seasonal displays, and product launches.

• Train new retail staff in product knowledge, POS system usage, and guest service excellence.

• Liaise with the Head of Golf to support tournament prize tables, member events, and corporate gifting programs.

• Address customer inquiries, concerns, or feedback in a courteous and solution-oriented manner.

• Uphold Al Zorah Golf & Yacht Club’s service and brand standards in every aspect of the guest retail journey.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT

• Indoor retail setting with occasional outdoor interactions during golf events or merchandise activations.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle lifting of merchandise boxes.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak golf seasons.
