Roles & Responsibilities
The Retail Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the sales of the company s retail outlets. This dynamic position requires a strategic thinker who can lead the sales team to achieve set objectives. The ideal candidate will bring their experience in retail management, customer service, and sales to foster an environment that maximizes store sales and enhances customer satisfaction. They are responsible for developing strategic plans, monitoring store activities, and ensuring that sales targets are met. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement retail sales strategies to achieve the company s sales objectives.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the retail sales team to maximize performance outcomes.
- Monitor and analyze sales results to inform adjustments in sales plans and initiatives.
- Ensure the retail team members deliver excellent customer service consistently.
- Identify market trends and customer preferences to refine sales approaches and strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional team efforts to optimize store operations and sales performance.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure the right products are in stock and displayed effectively.
- Address customer inquiries and solve problems to enhance the shopping experience.
- Set employee performance standards and conduct regular performance appraisals and evaluations.
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and retention efforts to maintain team quality.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote store events and seasonal promotions effectively.
- Implement loss prevention strategies and practices to minimize shrinkage and theft.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience, minimum of 5 years, in retail sales management or similar roles.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans successfully.
- Proficiency in retail management software and the use of sales tracking systems.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and suggest improvements.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent customer service skills with a customer-centric attitude and approach.
