Job Description

The Retail Operations Executive plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a retail business. This position involves overseeing the day-to-day administrative functions of retail operations, including managing staff, optimizing store processes, and ensuring excellent customer service. The Retail Operations Executive must possess strong leadership skills, be detail-oriented, and have a firm understanding of retail management principles. The role includes developing strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and profitability. This position requires interaction with various departments, including sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance, making excellent communication and organizational skills a must.


Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of retail stores to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase store foot traffic and sales.
  • Coordinate and manage the activities of store staff to ensure top performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design and implement promotional strategies.
  • Track and analyze supply chain performance to ensure prompt product availability.
  • Analyze financial reports to assess store performance and guide decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations within the retail environment.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize business disruptions.
  • Train and motivate store managers and staff to enhance their skill sets and performance.
  • Optimize inventory management practices to reduce waste and improve sales turnover.
  • Implement customer service standards to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Coordinate with the buying department to predict and meet future product demands.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail operations or a related role.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple retail locations successfully.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to drive performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to handle operational challenges effectively.
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, for internal and external engagement.
  • Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
