Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Review rejected or denied insurance claims and identify reasons for denial.

  • Correct claim errors, missing data, or coding issues for accurate resubmission.
  • Coordinate with coding, billing, and documentation teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Resubmit corrected claims promptly through e-claim portals or billing systems.
  • Track the status of resubmitted claims and ensure timely follow-up with payers.
  • Analyze denial patterns and provide input for process improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of all resubmissions and appeal activities.
  • Ensure compliance with strong>DOH/strong> regulations and payer policies.
  • Assist the denial management team in reducing the overall claim rejection rate.
  • Prepare periodic reports on resubmission performance and recovery trends.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Healthcare Management, Finance, or a related field.

  • 2 4 years of experience in claim resubmission, denial management, or medical billing in a hospital or healthcare organization in the UAE.
  • Strong understanding of UAE insurance claim workflows and payer requirements.
  • Familiarity with e-claim portals, hospital billing systems (e.g., Cerner, Medisys, Oracle, eClaimLink).
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding standards.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and report preparation.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in English; Arabic is an advantage.
