Job Description

A Restaurant Supervisor plays a pivotal role in the smooth and effective operation of a restaurant. This position involves overseeing the daily operations ensuring both staff performance and customer satisfaction. The Supervisor acts as a bridge between management and staff, ensuring that high-quality standards are maintained in both service and cuisine. This role requires a combination of excellent leadership skills, a strong sense of organization, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Being responsible for solving on-the-spot problems and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations are key aspects of the job. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in restaurant management and possess excellent communication skills.


Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant ensuring high-quality service.
  • Train, manage, and motivate the restaurant staff to achieve set goals.
  • Ensure that all food safety and health regulations are strictly adhered to.
  • Manage restaurant inventory and supplies, placing orders when needed.
  • Handle customer issues or complaints with professionalism and tact.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery.
  • Assist in planning and executing promotional events in the restaurant.
  • Prepare work schedules for staff, ensuring optimal staffing levels.
  • Maintain clean and safe working and dining environments at all times.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant facilities and equipment.
  • Monitor financial performance and assist in budget management initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies for boosting restaurant sales and profitability.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in restaurant management or supervisory role required.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate staff.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a busy environment.
  • Solid understanding of food safety and health regulations compliance.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail are essential.
