Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operations Management
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring smooth daily functioning and adherence to brand standards.
- Manage and mentor a team of employees, providing training, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Drive sales and profitability by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing financial data, and controlling costs effectively.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety, ensuring compliance with all health regulations.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly, providing exceptional customer service and building loyalty.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to ensure efficient supply chain management and minimize waste.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance overall performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring a clean and organized environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes to adapt business strategies accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, labor laws, and other relevant regulations.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the branch, including dining, kitchen, and service areas.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize costs.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff to maintain excellent service standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.
- Motivate the team to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
- Customer Experience
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by handling complaints and resolving issues promptly.
- Monitor service quality and implement improvements where needed.
- Build relationships with regular customers to encourage loyalty.
- Financial & Sales Management
- Manage the branch’s budget, including sales targets, expenses, and profitability.
- Analyze sales reports identify trends and implement marketing or promotional strategies.
- Control labor and food costs to maximize efficiency.
- Reporting & Administration
- Prepare and present regular performance and financial reports to senior management.
- Ensure accurate handling of cash and adherence to financial procedures.
- Maintain records related to staff, inventory, and compliance requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in restaurant management, demonstrating a track record of success.
- Proven experience in managing high-volume operations and achieving sales targets consistently.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience in budgeting, P&L management, and cost control.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and staff.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to handle challenging situations.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Demonstrated understanding of food safety and hygiene standards, with relevant certifications preferred.
- Must possess a strong work ethic, be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
