Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Industrial Development Department, your main responsibilities will be:

  • To supervise, lead and support a multidisciplinary team (engineers and technicians);
  • Plan activities, define priorities and allocate resources according to production needs, projects and GAPs;
  • Define, monitor and achieve SQCDP objectives related to processes. And ensure regular reporting to management;
  • Ensure communication and technical coordination with central teams on all subjects under his/her responsibility, including FMEAs and industrial implementation activities;
  • Implement innovative and/or complex processes;
  • Manage the industrialization of new products across all processes under responsibility;
  • Participate in definition reviews, manufacturability reviews and co-engineering activities;
  • Manage and validate industrial trials, programs and associated reports;
  • Participate in the development of the technological building blocks necessary for the improvement of processes in collaboration with the INNOV&GO center and analyze the impact of changes in customer documents and standards;
  • Verify and ensure that customer requirements are properly taken into account in internal documentation;
  • Compare operational documents with technical requirements to ensure compliance;
  • Update and validate operational documents (standards, instructions);
  • Provide technical support to GAPs in case of process problems and intervene in the resolution of major crises related to processes;
  • Conduct or manage technical assessments (depending on level of expertise), propose improvement actions, and contribute to process reliability.

Desired Candidate Profile

Engineer in a technical or industrial field.

  • Mastery of manufacturing processes, wiring / assembly / specific means according to the scope.
  • Very good knowledge of problem-solving methods (8D, 5Why, Ishikawa).
  • Mastery of APQP/FMEA/control plan methodologies and industrial software
  • Good knowledge of cabling (for SEP sites) or the relevant process domain
  • Leadership and ability to unite a team.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, and clear and assertive communication.
  • Autonomy, rigor and organizational skills. And a results-oriented approach and a focus on continuous improvement.
