Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Resort Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of the resort to ensure an exceptional guest experience, efficient use of resources, and adherence to company standards. This role is responsible for coordinating all departments—including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, recreation, and maintenance—to maintain smooth and profitable resort operations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Operational Management
- Oversee day-to-day resort operations to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor all departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Recreation, Maintenance, etc.) to ensure compliance with resort standards and policies.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and service standards.
Guest Experience
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through effective service delivery and quick resolution of guest issues.
- Monitor guest feedback from surveys and online platforms, implementing improvement plans as needed.
Financial Management
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for operational departments.
- Control operational costs while maintaining service quality.
Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, and motivate departmental managers and staff.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure professional development opportunities.
- Promote teamwork and a positive workplace culture aligned with resort values.
Safety & Compliance
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in hospitality management, with at least 5 years in resort or hotel operations.
