Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

This position is responsible for leading the construction supervision team to ensure that the project will be delivered on time and within budget according to the contract. The role will supervise the work of the site engineers, surveyors, inspectors, and all other disciplines working on the construction site.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily activities on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project plans, technical specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, complying with engineering specifications, designs, and applicable codes.
  • Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient execution of the project, resolving any technical or logistical issues that may arise.
  • Track and report project progress, including schedule adherence, milestones, and budget control.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations, conducting regular safety inspections and meetings.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, work logs, and inspections.
  • Ensure timely submission of documentation to the client and project team.
  • Identify potential issues or delays and take proactive steps to resolve them in collaboration with the project team.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, adherence to design, and to assess if work is progressing as planned.
  • Ensure that all activities comply with relevant local codes, standards, and regulations, and that environmental considerations are addressed.
