Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description
We require a Resident Engineer with 8–10 years of UAE experience in new construction, repair, and strengthening. This role involves overseeing site activities, managing contracts, handling claims, and coordinating with all stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day construction, repair, and retrofitting activities, ensuring compliance with approved designs and quality standards.
Contract & Claims Management: Administer FIDIC or similar contracts, review contractor claims, and issue variations as needed.
Client Coordination: Act as primary contact for clients, addressing technical queries and providing regular progress updates.
Authority Liaison: Work with local authorities (e.g., DM) for site inspections, approvals, and certifications.
Reporting & Documentation: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports, maintaining comprehensive records of site activities and contractual correspondences.
HSE Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and handle any site-related hazards or incidents swiftly.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
8–10 years of UAE experience, with exposure to structural repairs/strengthening.
Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and claims management.
DM approval (G+12 or unlimited) is a plus.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
