Resident Engineer Arenco Architectural & Engineering Consultants

• Extensive background in civil construc�on, industrial projects, mul�ple areas a plus. • Develop comprehensive project plans, including �melines, resource alloca�ons and procurement strategies. • Coordinate and oversee construc�on ac�vi�es, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifica�ons. • Lead construc�on management pursuits and fill a key role in delivering projects • Directs and reviews the overall planning of construc�on ac�vi�es to iden�fy cri�cal milestones and priori�es, conversant with PRIMAVERA planning opera�ng system. • Risk and quality management: Iden�fy and mi�gate project risks. Implement quality assurance and control programs to ensure work meets standards and specifica�ons. • Coordinate with regulatory authori�es as required. • Develop and establish efficient office and field procedures • Review/analyze engineering related materials, reports, documents, plans and specifica�ons. • Develops and presents contract administra�ve tasks including reports, pay quan�ty calcula�ons, es�mates, labor compliance reviews, change orders, claims review and resolu�on, schedules, etc. • Make significant and final determina�ons regarding contract administra�on. • Coordinate all construc�on Personal including Assistant Resident Engineer, Construc�on Inspectors, Office/Field Engineers, MEP Engineer, Planer Material Testers, Sub consultant Staff and Administra�ve/Project Personnel. • Has knowledge of the per�nent contract documents and references specific to the project. • Assist with scope of work changes – confirm that contractor is construc�ng project per the approved plans and specifica�ons. • Ability to write and prepare clear and concise reports and correspondence. • Exercises sound engineering judgment and follows through on determina�ons made during oversight of all field opera�ons. • Resolves or facilitates the resolu�on of all discrepancies or problems with contract documents and issues arising from field opera�ons. • Use technical knowledge to furnish comprehensive constructability analysis and review construc�on documents. • Review and comment on contractor schedules and develop schedule mi�ga�ons which keep the project on track • Reports monthly to the client on the status of the project • Prepares and/or reviews cost and risk analyses and extra work claims for the client • Provide analysis of claims and recommenda�ons for the client • Will be the primary contact and required to maintain a strong client rela�onship • Manage the project to the standard safety and quality assurance requirements for the client.
