The Emirates Center for Mobility Research (ECMR) at UAE University is seeking highly motivated and qualified candidates for the position of Post-Doctoral Researcher. The successful candidate will work on advanced research projects in mobility systems, smart transportation technologies, and related fields. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of researchers, engineers, and policymakers to develop solutions that address the challenges of modern transportation and contribute to the UAE s strategic goals in sustainable mobility.

Expected Skills

The Research Associate is expected to:

• Conduct advanced research in one or more of the following areas: autonomous vehicles, smart cities, sustainable transportation, traffic systems, electric vehicles, and connected transport networks.
• Develop models, algorithms, and simulations for real-world transportation problems.
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects with faculty, industry experts, and government stakeholders.
• Assist and co-supervise Ph.D. and Master's students.
• Prepare and publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
• Contribute to grant proposals and engage with funding agencies.
• Mentor graduate and undergraduate students involved in mobility research.
• Support the Center s outreach and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Contribute to administrative duties, including the development of marketing materials, follow-up meetings with potential clients, formal correspondence, and obtaining necessary approvals.
• Monitor and maintain project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
