Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Research Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decision-making processes. They provide insights through comprehensive research, market analysis, and data visualization, helping the organization identify trends, forecast outcomes, and develop strategic plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and analyze data from primary and secondary sources related to market trends, competitors, customer preferences, or scientific research.
Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to support business objectives.
Identify patterns, correlations, and insights from data to guide strategic decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Sales, R&D, or Management to understand research needs.
Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends.
Maintain and update databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Use statistical tools and software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, Excel, Tableau) for data analysis.
Support the development of research methodologies and frameworks.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Market Research, or related field. A Master s degree is a plus.
Proven experience as a Research Analyst or similar role.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge of industry-specific research methodologies.
