Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and visually appealing reports using various reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, or SSRS, transforming raw data into actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document reporting requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of business needs and data visualization preferences.
  • Develop and maintain data models, including creating and optimizing database queries, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and efficient report performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues, including data discrepancies, report errors, and performance bottlenecks, ensuring timely and accurate information delivery.
  • Automate report generation and distribution processes, streamlining workflows and reducing manual efforts for consistent and reliable reporting.
  • Conduct thorough testing of reports to validate data accuracy, functionality, and user-friendliness, guaranteeing reliable and trustworthy reporting outputs.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for reports, including data dictionaries, report specifications, and user guides, facilitating knowledge transfer and report maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest reporting tools, technologies, and best practices, continuously improving reporting capabilities and delivering innovative solutions.
  • Optimize report performance, including query optimization and data aggregation strategies, ensuring fast and efficient report generation.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on report usage, ensuring they can effectively utilize reports to make data-driven decisions.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in data and technology.
  • Has 3-5 years of experience in report development and data analysis, with a proven track record of delivering impactful reporting solutions.
  • Exhibits strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques, adept at creating and optimizing database queries for efficient data retrieval.
  • Demonstrates excellent data visualization skills, creating compelling and easy-to-understand reports that communicate insights effectively.
  • Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying and resolving reporting issues and data discrepancies.
  • Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and understand their reporting needs.
  • Demonstrates experience working with large datasets and complex data structures, ensuring robust and scalable reporting solutions.
  • Shows experience in the financial services or healthcare industries, bringing valuable domain knowledge to reporting projects.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken, enabling effective communication with international teams and stakeholders.
