The Job
Key Responsibilities

Drive and develop regional sales of phosphonates and related product categories across the Middle East.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
Lead negotiations and manage customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer insights to refine sales strategy.
Work cross-functionally with internal marketing, product, and technical teams to align business goals.
Consistently achieve and exceed annual sales targets while maintaining a healthy opportunity pipeline.
Additional Information

Citizenship / Work Permit: Prefer UAE nationals or candidates with valid work/residency permits.

Reporting: Head of Business Development (India).

Interview Process: 3 4 rounds. Travel and accommodation for official purposes will be covered.

Ideal Candidate

Must-Have Qualifications

Minimum 7+ years of sales and business development experience in specialty chemicals, with a focus on new business acquisition (hunting role).
Hands-on experience with: Phosphonates, Biodegradable Chelating Agents, MBT Biocides, Polymers, Questoll Detergent Additives, and Acetyl Chloride.
Proven ability to plan, negotiate, and manage international customer relationships.
Deep understanding of Middle Eastern market ecosystems, value chains, and buyer behaviour.
Established customer networks and distributor linkages within the region.
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Chemical Engineering (BSc/BTech Chemical or equivalent).
