Vodafone EG is seeking a skilled Red Hat Specialist to join our team in Smart Village. This role focuses on system administration, providing feedback on existing environments, and ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of our Red Hat systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Provide system administration support, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Red Hat systems.
• Monitor system performance, security, and storage, implementing necessary changes and improvements.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize Linux environments for application deployment.
• Provide feedback on system issues and enhancements, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Work with the IT support team to resolve incidents and service requests in a timely manner.

candidate_profile:

• 2+ years of experience in Red Hat system administration.
• In-depth knowledge of RHEL and associated technologies (e.g., Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and virtualization (e.g., AWS, OpenStack).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with system monitoring tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Red Hat Certified Engineer) are a plus.
