Job Description

As a Receptionist Cum Admission Officer, you will serve as the first point of contact for the organization, welcoming visitors and managing the admissions process. Your dual role will involve maintaining high levels of customer service while efficiently handling daily administrative tasks. You'll be responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of operations at the reception and assisting potential students and their families with the admissions process. You'll handle inquiries, provide detailed information about our educational programs, and manage admissions paperwork efficiently. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple tasks will be crucial in creating a positive impression and smooth operational workflow within the institution.


Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome visitors as they arrive at the institution.
  • Answer and direct phone calls and inquiries promptly and accurately.
  • Provide information to prospective students and parents regarding admission procedures.
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of admission-related events and tours.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable with all necessary materials.
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence related to admissions.
  • Maintain and manage students' records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Coordinate with academic staff to facilitate interviews and meetings with prospective students.
  • Assist in collecting and managing admission documents and application fees.
  • Use administrative tools to track application statuses and provide updates to applicants.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings for the admissions department.
  • Support administrative staff with additional tasks as required.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or similar role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities are required for this role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office management tools.
  • Ability to maintain a positive, helpful attitude and provide excellent customer service.
  • Experience in the educational sector or understanding of admission processes is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications will be a plus.
